I plan to develop graphical mathematical applications for simulations and calculation. Is C# on .NET 2.0 a good choice? I'm interested in Windows dev only and I wonder if performances are good enough for this type of applications. Also, what are my alternatives?
Programming language for mathematical applications?
I know of someone who wrote a labtools type program in C# and had great success - from that anecdotal evidence I'd say it's an excellent choice!
