How do I find out what kind of PCI-E slot my computer has?

I have a dell generation xps.

How do I find out what kind of PCI-E slot my computer has?
base from the description you show, your motherboard's north bridge or memory control hub as what intel now calls it's main chipset is 875P, which ofcourse doesn't have or does not supports a PCI-Ex16 card for video. your motherboard supports only an AGP slot. You don't have PCI-E x 16 for video card nor a PCI-E slots for the newest PCI family.





note that AGP is 8x, PCI-E is 16x for the video cards. thanks.
