A basic C++ question??, Any one with any knowledge please help!?

Ok i just bought a C++ book that comes with Dev-C++, ok just starting off it tells me to make a console application project. This is no problem the project is made, But the next step says go to Execute%26gt;Compile and run. After this a console is supposed to pop up but it never does. In the compile log it says 70 erroers and execution terminated....





so does any one have any ideas? Thanks a bunch

Without any actual errors quoted, have you checked that you have the right directories for the compiler/linker to find the included files? This is the most likely thing.

this is a big...70 errors...


program will not run even if u have one error


so what i would suggest is to start all over cuz if you try to find the errors...it will take more time





just a tip: its better to use Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Express edition than Dev...it is free...you can download it from here...
